This past August, we were selected as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer. The award is given to the 23 most innovative start-up companies in the world the WEF believes hold the potential to alter the world we live in. Following that success, our President, Aviad Maizels has been asked to be a special guest firestarter at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos on Thursday, this week.  He will join industry heavy hitters from around the world to lead the Govenors’ Meeting for the Media, Entertainment and Consumer Industries. He’ll be talking with Marissa Mayer of Yahoo about innovation in interfaces.

This week in Davos, the Governors of the Media, Entertainment & Information industries are joining forces with Governors of the Retail, Consumer Goods, Agriculture, Food and Beverage industries to examine recent innovative models that have positively influenced their industries.

The phenomenal growth of social and mobile technologies is not only rewriting the way people work, shop and interact, but also redrawing industry lines and business models. The meeting in Davos will examine how technology is changing people’s lives and we will share our perspective on technology that is changing the world.

The world is truly more globally connected than it’s ever been before. A piece of technology can impact the lives of so many around the world, not just in one geographic location. And sometimes, it’s good to know the technology you created can make an impact on the lives of others, no matter where they are or who they are.

The session is closed to the media but we will be updating you on our social channels. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook  to hear more.
