CES 2013 in Las Vegas came to an end and the one thing we can say is change is coming!  Our World of Sensing showed everyone that 3D sensing isn’t just for games anymore and when people left our suite at CES they pretty much said the same thing: We didn’t know you could do that!

Even as you watched our President and Founder, Aviad Maizels walk down the hall while the Willow Garage TurtleBot robot trailed
behind him by looking at him with a PrimeSense sensor, swerving to the right and left as Aviad turns.

Watching the robot scamper to keep up with his maker, you realized the world is waking up to the power of 3D sensing. Saying you can use 3D sensing in retail or digital signage is one thing, but seeing it is another.

The point is that 3D sensing isn’t something that we have to work hard to incorporate into our lives, it fits everywhere – fashion, healthcare, entertainment, retail, automotive – it’s already in our lives in some way or the other, but here at PrimeSense and what we showed the world at CES, we want to bring it even closer to you.

Some say the theme for CES this year was thin, flexible and transparent – we completely agree, which is why our newest sensor, Capri is set to disrupt how any device brings 3D sensing to you, ubiquitously.

It’s small, smaller than a stick of gum, but that’s not really the point, the point is the uses this small sensor can deliver to devices – 3D sensing right in your phone, in your tablet – in your life. It is transparent because it will just work, without anyone having to understand how, like magic.

If you missed our video on the world WE want to bring to you, take a peek and see what the present could be like.
