Matterport built a scanner using PrimeSense sensors that automatically creates beautiful, color 3D models of interior spaces. Easy to use and portable, it only takes minutes to go from scanning to “walking” around the 3D model on your computer.

 

Models can be imported directly into 3D software packages. And for those without 3D software, Matterport also built a web viewer that enables 3D viewing capabilities on any computer. With the Matterport Viewer, all users can walk around a model, make notes, take measurements, and share the model with others.
