Mr. Mercadante joined Silver Lake in 2007 from Shah Capital Partners and is a Managing Director focused on the firm's middle market strategy, Silver Lake Sumeru. He has significant experience as a senior management executive. Prior to joining SCP, Mr. Mercadante was President of Force Computers ("Force"), a leading provider of embedded computing systems and a wholly owned subsidiary of Solectron, Inc. that was subsequently sold to Motorola, Inc. in 2004. Prior to Force, Mr. Mercadante was the Vice President of Strategic Planning for Solectron's $2 billion Technology Solutions Business Unit. Mr. Mercadante also has previous experiences with SMART Modular Technologies, Rose Communications, Activision and Apex Data. He serves on the Boards of Directors of Ingenient Technologies, PulseCore, Magellan, and Mobile Messenger. He has a B. in economics from the State University of New York.

Before coming to PrimeSense, Inon served as CEO of DSP Group, and was a co-founder of Ceragon Networks Ltd., where he served as COO. He also served as VP of the Electronic R&D Department of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, and won the Israel Defense Award for R&D. Inon holds BSc and MSc degrees in electrical engineering and electronics from Tel Aviv University. Obviously not someone that sits around, if he’s not in the office, he’s probably out for a hike, bike or swim.

Aviad has years of experience in technology and leadership. His enthusiasm for eliminating technological barriers between people and their devices inspired the foundation of PrimeSense.
Aviad served as head of a technical R&D section in the Israeli Ministry of Defense, and has a BSc in computer science from the Technion and an MSc in mathematics from the Weizmann Institute. In his spare time he tries to catch up on what his daughter and son, can teach him, and on being a good husband. We don't leave him much time for anything else.

Yossi Sela joined Gemini in 1993 when it was founded and became Managing Partner in 1998. He is one of the most accomplished venture capitalists in Israel and has achieved over 10 successful exits. In addition to PrimeSense, Mr. Sela represents Gemini on the boards of portfolio companies ConteXtream, Xjet and The Gifts Project. He also serves on the boards of the Russell Berrie Nanotechnology Institute (RBNI) at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, and of the Faculty of Management – The Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration. He is on the board of trustees of the Academic College of Tel Aviv Jaffa as well. Mr. Sela spent 10 years in an elite intelligence unit of the Israel Defense Forces, reaching the rank of Major. He holds a BSc in electrical engineering from the Technion and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Orna Berry is Corporate Vice President and General Manager for Israel COE of Data storage solutions giant EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC) and manager of the company’s center of excellence in Israel. Dr. Berry was formerly a Venture Partner in Gemini Israel Funds Ltd. Dr. Berry is a former Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Government of Israel. The Office of the Chief Scientist manages the programs in industrial R&D, which in the years of Dr. Berry’s tenure, 1997-2000, were budgeted at over $450M a year. Dr. Berry has made significant technological contributions to the local area network (LAN) industry. Dr. Berry received her PhD in computer science from the University of Southern California and MA and BA degrees in statistics and mathematics from Tel Aviv and Haifa Universities. She is a frequent lecturer on high tech worldwide.

Jonathan Saacks is a Partner at Genesis Partners and sits on the boards of a number of Genesis Partners portfolio companies including Correlixand Yedda. Mr. Saacks focuses on software investments, and in addition, is responsible for fund operations. Prior to joining Genesis Partners, Mr. Saacks worked at Gemini Israel Funds as a principal and was one of the first employees at Barak International Telecom Corp., where he was responsible for overseeing product management, marketing and international partnerships and helped the organization grow to 400 employees. Mr. Saacks also served for ten years in the Intelligence Corps of the Israeli Defense Forces commanding large operational teams. He holds an MBA from Oxford University and a BA in economics and management from Tel Aviv University.

As head of Canaan's Israel operations since 2005, Izhar Shay focuses on building great companies in communications and mobility, software, clean technologies and digital media. He also seeks key investments in medical devices. With more than 20 years of operational experience as a successful entrepreneur, Mr. Shay was previously Chairman and CEO of V-Secure Technologies, which he grew to a leading position in the intrusion prevention market. Prior to V-Secure, Mr. Shay was CEO and co-founder of Business Layers, and VP of Business Development with international investment firm The BRM Group.
Mr. Shay holds a BSc in electronics engineering from the Technion Institute in Haifa, Israel. He was a paratrooper in the Israeli army and is involved in various volenteer activities related to the education of young students in Israel
